These are the revised rules for posting job adverts on the forum. A few changes but we hope that given a few weeks everyone will be up to speed. In the meantime, we may need to edit new threads/posts to bring them into line with the revised rules. Threads posted previously to the changes will be left as they are.
A few things to be aware of when posting here in the Employment section.
* Please do not join the forum with the sole intention of advertising here. People joining just to advertise or whose first posts are adverts will have their adverts removed without notice.
* The ability to post a situation vacant advert is restricted to members whose accounts are older than 30 days.
* Please do not include email or phone numbers in your post/advert. Ask people to PM you in the first instance, or reply in the thread. You can set up email notifications for when you are sent a PM or someone replies to your thread so can always know when there is an interested party. (Your settings for this can be found in the top right corner under SETTINGS)
* If you are advertising a job vacancy please post back in the thread when/if the position has been filled. This helps people visiting the forum to know what is currently active and available or has been filled.
* If you find a job listing while browsing the web and think it might be of interest to others here, please feel free to post a link to it here. People interested can then apply via the advert itself. Please state its not a position you yourself are advertising, but one you saw elsewhere. Saves confusion.
* If in doubt about any of the above or if you wish to ask the mod team anything regarding posting in this section, please feel free to drop any or all of us a PM.
