Skills Gap Training for Plumbers, Gas Fitters, Electricians, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics

If you are a recently arrived Migrant with a *pre-migration assessment in one of the

trades above, you may be eligible for funded skills gap training.

The Department of Further Employment, Education, Science and Technology (DFEEST), through

Skills Recognition Services (SRS) is offering funding towards skills gap training up to the

Certificate III level. This training can assist you in applying for Workers Registration through

Consumer Business Services for a trade licence without restriction.

This opportunity supports recently arrived migrants who have an *Offshore Technical Skills

Record or if a Gas Fitter a pre-migration assessment through *Trades Recognition Australia.

Priority will be given to State Sponsored Migrants.

This funding is available for a limited time only.
