Employment Tax File Number

Hi All

 

We are due to arrive next week, I have been in touch with a few employment agencies and they have replied back saying once I have organised my tax file number, I need to call them.

 

Question is, how do I go about getting this ?

check the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) website. i would assume there is a form you can fill in online. :-)

You have to be in the country to apply but it's an online form, even if you go into their offices they show you to a computer to fill it in.

Hi There,

Just apply online and a couple of weeks later you get it through the post,its one of the easier things to do when you get here!!!
