Suggest authorized vendor certificate providers

Hi All,

I see there are couple of Training centers who provide training that ends up with vendor certification. But I want to study all by myself and sit for the vendor(Microsoft) exam paying only the exam fees.

Can anybody suggest such authorized vendor certificate providers ?

As far I have checked I din find any Microsoft Certification on their list. Is it anything I missed ? What exam your partner took, anyway ?!

Sorry for the confusion, my partner took his exam VCP5 (VMware) and his colleague did a Microsoft exam at the same place, so he assumed it was through the same company, but the Microsoft exam is through a different company, info below.....
