We're in the countdown to our move in April and really want to start checking out the job market, not necessarily with a view to applying yet but getting hooked up with the right job sites, agencies etc. I have 15 years experience in the UK voluntary sector predominantly managing volunteers and would like to find something similar in Adelaide, any help would be gratefully received.

Hi thewhitehouse! It must be an exciting time for you with planning your move. When you say you're looking for community/charity work, are you able to clarify whether you're looking for paid or unpaid work?

Hi HMRC I'll be happy to volunteer for a small amount of time but my paid career has been on the voluntary sector for 15 years in the UK and I would like to continue this path in Australia

Ok well there's a few different ways you could go about finding work (both paid and unpaid). Here's a few links for you:

www.seek.com.au for PAID work

www.volunteer.com.au for UNPAID community work

www.apsjobs.gov.au for government based roles, as there are from time to time roles that appear in the voluntary sector

www.ethicaljobs.com.au or www.nfpjobs.com.au for not for profit jobs.

Goodluck and let me know how you go!

Elena
