Time frame

Hi

does anyone know the rough time frame from an employer submitting a nomination for a prospective employee on 457, until they are able to submit their visa application request?

Hi

We are just at the end of the process. Ours was a little longer as it was the first time our employer had done this. Once the company had passed stage 1, they then nominate you ( stage 2) then its only a couple of weeks then you have to apply ( stage3) which is more or less a formality. All in all ours has taken just over 12 weeks. If your employer has sponsored before, its prob only 4-6 weeks !

Thanks for this Emma. My employer is SA Health, so I reckon they have plenty nominating experience. It's been 3 weeks since I send mine and my families details to the person from SA Health who deals with sponsorship. I've not heard anything back yet, but from what you tell me, it should be soon, perhaps a little delayed due to holiday time.
