Hi Chelsea,

I'm looking into nursing jobs in the Adelaide area. I qualified as a registered children's nurse in January 2013 and am currently working on a large NICU in the south of England. Ideally would like to find a job on a NICU but could work on the children's wards. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Claire

Hi Chelsea,

My wife is a Midwife in Scotland and we're thinking of moving to Adelaide with her being the Visa applicant and full time worker. Any help you could give us would be great - can she PM you?

Hi Chelsea

I am a male mental health nurse (I'm using my partners username!) and am interested in finding out about work in adelaide. My preference being permanent work ideally. I moved from the uk late 2012 and currently live in perth but want to move to adelaide. I have nearly 6 years experience in mental health nursing and addictions. Please let me know if you require any further details.

Kind regards

Hi Chelsea,

I am a midwife looking for work in Adelaide. I work in all areas including community and have just completed 10 months in the Special Care Baby Unit. I hear the jobs are not abundant just now. Is it worth joining the casual work pool at the W & C's or Lyle McEwin?

Hope to move out by the end of the year. I am Australian and have started application to APHRA.

I am in the early process of moving out to Australia, we really want to move to SA but I have a dillema, I am a registered nurse with acute experience in hospital and community experience as a staff nurse. I am just completing my post grad certificate in specialist practitioner health visitor, I have heard that in SA and VIC you have to be a midwife in addition to the other qualifications. I would love to do this role when I come over but if not I would like community nursing again.

Hi Chelsea, I am a qualified childrens nurse and have worked in neonates for 13 years and took my neonatal qualification a year ago. There is a chance my husband could move over to adelaide with his work and I was wondering how easy would it be for me to get a job on a NICU in adelaide? I would be very interested in any feedback you could give me, Natalie.

Hi Nat,

im just trying to get my APHRA application all sorted, it's a nightmare, so confusing! Then once I've got that, I will actively seek a job, either neonates or paeds if I have to. Have you started the application? I'm currently trying to find a notary for all my documents but at the moment am being quoted £60 a document!!

Unfortunately Denise, it's the JP/magistrates at Portsmouth and fareham court that have quoted £60 a document! I'm looking for anywhere cheaper!

Possibly, but it's unlikely you will get employer sponsorship. They won't even sponsor EN's.

Im a Maternity support worker (healthcare assistant in maternity) are there any jobs in oz for me.

If you're a Dual registered Midwife and RN, there are jobs in Adelaide and Port Augusta with sponsorship if needed. 2-3 years experience post grad. If you are interested, I'll PM you details.
