TV repairmen?

I have a Hitachi flat screen tv that went pop when I switched it on some time ago. I'm able to fix it myself IF i could get it open. Are there any tv literate people out there that have insight in this field? I have removed all the obvious and indicated screws holding the rear cover on but I cannot seperated the two halves and I don't want to use force in case I break something.

The model number is 23LD800TA 2 if that's helpful. This tv may be of use for a new comer if it's fixed. Failing that, I can use it as a pc monitor(great for gaming)
