After reading a recent thread stating businesses have been pm members regarding their services.

Does this mean if a member asks for recommendations for a certain service or trade, then members that supply these services can not approach them directly ?

Asking for help and having people pm with random advertising are two different things.

Sarah is correct. The member today was "cold calling".

If someone makes a post on the forum and asks for a rental in Adelaide for example, we would not permit all of the property owners to jump on a thread saying they had a house etc. However, I have no objections to you pming the member, this doesn't mean the member themselves are ok with it and if they received 50 pms from members pushing their property I could see a couple being reported.
