I read that and considering you can get $26 an hour if you're serving alcohol in a bar, I was quite shocked! That's casual rates of course, but even so...

You have to make up your wages with the bonus's, $26 is basic pay, I have been over to Manchester recently and main dealers only pay mechanics 9 pound an hour in that part of England !

You could do a lot worse than $26hr basic as a mechanic in Adelaide. It sounds a fair wage to me

I had an interview with a Toyota dealer about 6 mths ago and was told they pay $21 hr.
