Childcare and childminding

Any advice on working in childcare or childminding? I am qualified in the Uk to level 3 in childcare. Have worked in Nursery Preschool environments for the past 4 years, with part time nanny work over the past year. (Not my chosen career but it worked within school times for my own boys)

 

I would like to continue in this area as I love working with little ones.

 

I understand I would need to update my qualifications due to different child protection policies/paediatric first aid etc. but not sure how I would go about this.
