Sending out my C.V

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following - How long before getting to oz would/has anyone sent their C.V to potential employers in the field of Joiner/Site manager?

 

Any advice would be very welcome to help get employment prior to landing in oz.

I would contact Sarah, she posts on here as Guzzler&Sas with her OH (I won't say he is the better half!).

 

She is a senior member of staff at a recruitment agency in the city, so I think she'd be a really useful palce to start. She might not be able to help you but she'd know who would.

Hi Mark & Shelley

 

The earlier the better really - if you have your visa and have a rough idea of date, then get sending. I think that IanB (mod on here) has a similar background to you and he was able to secure quite a few interviews prior to getting here and has now landed himself a job as a site manager. The company I work for helped him - please feel free to PM me.
