First post here - visa in back pocket. Hubby is in the RAF (20 years) and is hoping to get work at Adelaide airport. Has anyone got any advice of how to get in, any recruitment agencies that deal with aviation?
Permanent residency is usually required for aircraft work, there have been a couple on here who have suffered that one, plus I know of 2 friends who have had trouble getting aircraft maintenence work due to being on temp visa.
Airport jobs are advertised through the airlines websites and on the airport website (depending on job).
Someone else might know of a recruitment agency to use.
Thanks Sarah - we do have PR so hope that will help us! ;)

Welcome to the site, my OH was in the RAF too. When are you planning on coming out?
What trade is your OH ?
Will drop you a list of agencies by PM.

Sorry to jump on your thread Drumms!! Was just wondering though if people know of good websites for Aircraft engineers would they mind posting them on here rather than PMing them.

We found that most people we emailed never bothered to reply which is really frustrating. At the very least if you send in a resume/CV put on there whether you have a visa and a planned date to arrive in Australia.
Hope this helps
cheers Lea im sure it will!!
