Has double glazing taken off yet in Adelaide,if so where are the firms plus any idea about wages.

:idea:No definately not and the people who do it are very expensive. Unfortunately the aussies can't seem to come to grips with insulating the house properly like we do. They think you need to have the house so it lets all the hot air out in the summer and you freeze to death in the winter.

Good insulalation does not exist in Adelaide even in new builds. You have to build you own home to have good insulation.

 

Adelaide have moved on slightly. Double glazing is complusary in new builds near the airport. But it is expensive and not common. Drafty leaky windows in the norm
