there is a government agency, sorry can't remember the site but google apprenticeships and you should find it. Also go and see your school councellor , this is the sort of thing they are employed to do. You may also be able to do a VET course through school that will lead to an apprenticeship.

VET courses count towards your SACE too.

my son jake wants to be an electrician and his school has sent his resume off to a few companies and there is a few interested and going to get back to him i think going throo your school is the best bet also he is doing a tafe course throo school electrical principals :)
