schools in shiedow park

we have managed to get a rental in sheidow park but we dont know much about the schools in that area. my son is 11 and will be going into year 6 or 7. can anyone recommed one and give me any information regarding it.

The zoned school for that area is Woodend Primary. We had a rental in Sheidow when we first got here too. The school is large but well catered for and they do have a plan on how to support new arrivals as they see quite a number of recent arrivals. We found that the school was great in helping our youngest settle into Australia.

 

I am not sure of any other schools in that area but someone else may be able to offer more advice.

I think it depends on whereabouts you are based in Sheidow Park. There are two schools which caters for Sheidow Park/Trott Park. There's Sheidow Park Primary School (on Adam's Road) and then Woodend Primary School (on edward beck road).

 

Not heard anything bad about Sheidow Park school, but don't know much about it. Woodend is a good school, with a good reputation IMO.

Can confirm Woodend is a very good school as my little uns attend/ed.
