Info on school term dates

I have found on the government website the term dates for schools, but i was wondering do they have a half term as well. If they do where can you find the dates if those.

They have 6 weeks at xmas(summer!) 2 weeks at easter,2 weeks in July(now)and a week and 2 days(as far as I can tell) in October. It does make quite a long term, hopefully we will get used to it, but it doesn't help when their friends in the uk are on half term.

No they have 2 weeks in October too. No half terms as already said. Term1 is the longest.

No half terms and to be honest my 2 prefer the long terms and actually moan when the hols come. They seem to be able to 'get into' the swing of things better with the long terms, normally around 9 weeks. Just a shame they have to have any holidays at all!!!
