Hi There

there a a number of schools you could look at. Most of the Primary Schools come highly recommended in this area. Have a look at these.

All of these are in a 15 minute drive of Tea Tree Gully, though the top 3 are the closest in the suburb. All of the websites can be accessed from The Department of Education website which is here

Greetings! We're here on a reccie right now and have been frantically looking at schools and houses for our 10,8 & 3 year old. Most schools here do come highly recommended but we realised that several are quite catchmented and it really depends on where you live. Some places are much less strict. Even now - we realise that our actualy decision won't be made until we move for good but we have a good idea as to where we'll go. We will be staying in Greenwith with in-laws so are looking in that part of tea tree gully area. We've really find you can get a good sense whether your child will be happy as soon as you come for a tour and everyone has been wonderfully friendly helping us along the way. I'm far less stressed about that major decision that I was so fear not.

Hi Liz

If you are staying at Greenwith - Greetings I am just along Target Hill Road in Salisbury Heights, come over for a cuppa when you are here. Sorry back to the original thread. Greenwith, i can recommend Greenwith Primary, its an excellent school, they are catchmented but since you will be living in Greenwith you'll have no problems getting in. Just change your address when you move, they don't make you move school. Take a look at Golden Grove Primary, Wynn Vale Primary and Keithcott Farm. Here are the links

I wanted to use Greenwith myself but they were very strict on the catchment although they did say if Hayley was at the Kindy they would do their best to enrol her because of the social side, i.e all her friends going there. However I have now decided to use Keithcott Farm as i already have an older daughter at Kings Baptist (private school) which is situated next door to Keithcott Farm. Keithcott are much more open about their places, if there is a place when you enrol you get it. Simple. Also I have the option of enrolling in Kings if we have the money to send her.

http://www.valleyview.sa.edu.au/ Terrible Reputation but know nothing personally.

this might be of interest and not to far to go. its a Reception to year 12 all on one site but in 3 separate campus. I know lots of people very happy with this school and it has the only school observatory in South australia.

I've ignored Ross Smith and Windsor Gardens as they are too far out.

Cheers
