The primary schools I have worked in as a relief teacher( Supply teacher) have had specialist teachers in Italian or German. My own boys are learning Italian at their school ad really enjoy it. I think only one school I have been to have taught French. I think the local community has a large bearing on what is the language focus. If you go to the DECS SA website you can find more info about a specific school with links to their own website. Also the recently launched national 'My School' website has a brief statement about the school's main areas and it is genearlly stated there which language is the school's focus.
