Help! Advice needed on starting school in Hallett Cove

Hello! Well we finally arrived in Adelaide last friday to start our new lives! We are living in Hallett Cove and think we have settled on Hallett Cove East School to send our children (my daughter Casey is 7yrs and my son Jackson is 5yrs). After speaking to the school it looks like Jackson will be starting YR1 which is fine as he had only done one term in YR1 in the UK. However because of Casey's birthday it looks like she will be starting YR2 which is a bit of a nightmare as she has just finished her first term in YR3 in the UK! Please can you help or adivse me, I am very worried about her going back a whole school year. Have any of you experienced this before, if so how did it go for you.
