Studying on a pr visa

My family and I came over year ago on a state sponsor PR visa (with my husbands job)

 

I am hoping to go to uni to study. Does anyone know if I will be classed as international student. If not, will I be able to defer the normal fees till I'm in work??

You certainly are not counted as an international student. I'm not sure on the deferring fees though. I know you can't get hex (or whatever it is called) until you are a citizen.

As a Pr you are classed as a domestic student.

You have to pay all your fees upfront each semester.

You are not able to defer payment until you become a Citizen , this is done through Hecs.
