Playstation3 and Xbox 360

Hello we are heading over to Adelaide in the next couple of months and wonder if Playstation3 and Xbox 360 consoles will work. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I agree, but the kids don't. Hopefully once there, they won't bother with them anyway. Cheers

we brought the playstation 2 & 3 and the wii and the nintendo ds's ,dont have an x box (my children are obviously deprived), they all work fine no problems with games bought here either.

Hi, I can't speak for the XBox 360 but the PS3 will work fine. PS3 games aren't region encoded so you can buy PS3 games from anywhere in the world and they will play on any PS3. The blu-ray player on a PS3 is region B so will play all the blu-rays you have bought in the UK and any you buy in Oz.

However a UK PS3 is DVD region 2 so won't play aussie DVDs as they are region 4.
