Hi All i have been monitoring this post for a while and my turn to apply for 887 has come after a long waiting 2 years, i tried to apply for 887 visa online, however, when it comes to the part to fill my spouse information, a message appeared saying that (your spouse may be outside Australia, to include her in the application she must be in Australia). My spouse and child will return to Australia after 2 months and she is the second applicant, is it possible to apply to the visa while she is outside Australia. Any suggestions

Hi, I have been in Adelaide for 2 weeks, searching for a job in the IT field. Few jobs to apply through seek, to be specific only 2 posts related to my experience during the last period, contacted more than 7 recruitment companies either by phone or visiting them. Many promises that soon i will be able to get a job ( i hope so). trying to be positive as much as i can. New comers to South Australia be financially prepared as job hunting may need 3 to 6 months and be self prepared and don't not feel panic for not securing a job quickly.

Hi everybody, I wonder why companies and employers always insist to hire candidates with local experience rather than new immigrants, what I cannot understand is that, there are jobs that might require the local experience especially in marketing and sales fields, however, in other fields like information technology I do not think that local experience does matter. As long as your skills are assessed from responsible organization, this means this immigrant can work in OZ and his/her skills are in demand so again and again, if do not hire this candidate how can he get the desired “LOCAL EXPERIENCE” Thanks
