  1. Hello All! First, I would like to thank all of you for your support and time. I have been granted PR on 10 December 2015 (189 visa). The letter says that I have been granted restricted-free entry for 5 years. My last date to enter Australia is in August 2016. My question is when this 5 year period will start, the day I have been granted visa or the date I will enter Australia. I have not been to Australia before. Please answer my question. All your time and suggestions are really appreciated. Sincerely.
  2. Hello All! I have three question for state sponsorship in South Australia. 1. If I join any University in South Australia for my PhD by research option on 190 visa sponsored by South Australia, then I would be paying domestic fees or international fees? I have read that for the first two years I would be treated as international student for fee paying purposes. 2. Also, please tell about the job market in whole of South Australia? I am Industrial Engineer and willing to do any kind of job for start-up. 3. What is the basic cost of living in South Australia? I mean I need a bed to sleep, bathroom to use and two vegetarian meals (this is for initial time only during job hunt). All your replies and comments are really appreciated. Regards.
  3. Hello All! I have just joined this group. I have few questions, if anybody willing to help, that would be great. As on today, I am scoring 55 points. I have my evaluation from Engineers Australia back in June 2009 but due to some family reasons, I dropped the idea of filing application for visa. Now the things are on track and I am ready to file for State Sponsorship (SS), 190 visa. I have been evaluated as an Industrial Engineer. My question is: Evaluation of Engineers Australia is still valid (After 2 years) or do I have to get new evaluation? I have Bachelors of Engineering Degree from India and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from USA. I have worked in USA and Oman. I am Base SAS certified Programmer, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified internal auditor. Does these qualifications and international exposure counts in getting SS with 55 points. It is very hard to see that DIAC don't give extra points for Masters Degree. Also, please give me suggestions on how to crack all 7.0 in IELTS (General). I have written General Module three time and in all attempts, got down by writing section. In each attempt, I scored 7.0 in rest three sections. Last score is L-9.0 R-7.0 W-6.5 S-7.0 All your comments are reall appreciated. Regards.
  4. Hello all! I have one question. I have everything in place ready for 190 visa of SA. My question is: Right now, I don't have passport of my daughter (8 months old). Can I lodge EOI without including her name and later when I receive her passport, then alter EOI and include her name. I have my passport and my wife's passport and waiting for passport of my daughter. Your reply is really appreciated. Regards.
  5. Thanks for your information. I have already Bachelor of Engineering (4 years) from India and Master of Science Degree (2 years) from USA. If I will get 190 visa from SA and I join PhD by research in SA, then I will classed as an International student or domestic student. Also will I able to work full time with my studies or I have to follow rules as an international student. Your reply is really appreciated. Regards.
  6. Hello all! I have one question. If I get SS from SA and I enrolled myself in university in SA, then I would be considered as an international student or domestic student? Do I have to pay in-state or out of state tuition fees? Your early reply is really appreciated. Thanks.
