  1. It is now on domain, here is the link: http://www.domain.com.au/18a-cambridge-street-port-noarlunga-south-sa-5167-8655816?sp=0 Cheers!

Aircon upstairs and down, nbn and foxtel also available Tiled throughout and carpets to bedrooms Low maintainance garden but still enough room for kids to play and a shed. Carport and off street parking. Available from 4/12/15 or earlier $380 a week PM for more details/ pictures etc
  3. I can highly recommend the Port Noarlunga area. We have been in Oz now 2 months and loving every minute of it. We found a rental, as some others on this thread have said in Port Noarlunga South, which is a fantastic place to bring up kids, ours are 6, 4 and 2 and loving the outside lifestyle. We are literally 5 minutes walk from South Port beach and a short 3 minute ride in the car to Port Noarlunga, or Seaford and 5 minutes to the Colonnades shopping centre. Friends of ours send their children to Port Noarlunga Primary and they love it. Freida Corp is also a fantastic Kindy, unfortunately we couldn't get our daughter in as they were full so she is going to Seaford Kindy and our 6 year old goes to All Saints Primary in Seaford, which he absolutely loves. Also if people are reading this in preparation before coming and need short term rental I cannot speak highly enough of Tamara and Homes Downunder! We stayed in Boomerang for 11 days and had a great time, all we could have asked for when making the move. So if you need a rental in this area give her website a look over.
  4. We have also booked to fly with Singapore, arriving in October. Have emailed our visa grant notification after an initial email saying that we would get 40kg but wanted to check our visa letter. As with others I want it in writing!
  5. Finally received the good news this morning that our visas had been granted!!!! So excited now that it is official! Have been reading the posts and realising that we were not the only ones who had been referred back at the end of November - 18 weeks. The wait has been excruciating especially as there was nothing that had showed up on our medicals but we had been one of the unfortunate ones to be quality controlled!!! Anyway the fun now begins getting things sorted for the move, hopefully in September as I have to give my notice in on Monday when we return from the Easter holidays - not looking forward to having that conversation with my Head! Congratulations to all those who have received their visas and to those still waiting, hang in there and hopefully you won't have to wait as long as us! Nick
  6. Seems like an age since I last posted and so much has happened. Day before we left our summer Australian holiday we were given State Sponsorship! When we returned to the UK we lodged our application with DIAC and last week got our case officer. So police checks and medicals are booked! We are all so excited and can't believe our dream is finally coming to fruition! Just looking at areas again now and seem to have set our heart on the Aldinga Beach area, where we all had a great time in the summer. So fingers crossed more good news will follow soon.
  7. Cheers zebedee, we're crossing everything!
  8. New to the site but have been looking at it for over a year now for guidance and inspiration. We started the process back in October having lived in Australia back in 2006/7. Missed the July 1st deadline but have reapplied so waiting for the SS to come back positively but have been told of at least an 8 week wait! However, that didn't deter us and we are currently having a 4 week holiday in Australia. Just returned to our base with family in Sydney after our Reccie in Adelaide, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the whole atmosphere there and managed to meet with some employers as regards job prospects. So we'll just have to wait and see - 5 weeks of waiting and counting!
