Worst type of visa considering that 1) You wont be getting any benefit (medicare, childcare, Tuition fees or anything considered benefit) from the Govt till you are eligible for permanent residency 2) You need to stay and work in Adelaide/SA ( 52 weeks payslip) to be eligible for PR which also requires a good months of waiting period Although if you are prepared to take any challenge considering current unemployment rate in SA , you are most welcome to take .

Hi. I have been granted 489 visa (state sponsored) on last June . I am working for a big telecommunication operator in Bangladesh and earning good. Will it be okay to leave my current job and search for new opportunity in Adelaide? My last entry date is on md February, 2013. I can get 3 weeks paid leave from my current employer. When should I come to search for a job? Can anyone suggest? Thanks
