Hi all, Finally I am landing in Adelaide in the mid of August and I am looking for sharing accommodation to start with. If anyone is moving in August and looking for shared accommodation such as extra room share or unit share, please feel free to drop a note. I do not mind any particular location for stay, but preferably closer to CBD or easily accessible by Metro. Any pointers to the same is appreciated. Cheers, Karthik

I would be on the lookout for accommodation (Single/Sharing) by end of March 2015 when I arrive. It would be great if anyone could extend their support in that and am looking to meet new friends for socialising as well.

If one has to "Stay away from flats, units, town-houses" what else they can buy ? Can someone throw some light on short supply lands or houses and where to contact ?

Awesome information for People planning to settle and make a New life in Adelaide. Even when I visited for a week's time last summer during December, I felt the city is isolated and not bustling with much outdoor activities as in any other cities. Probably its because its vacation time and people were travelling elsewhere. Later realised its not what I presumed and it has got a lot of things to offer us in terms of value, freedom, family time etc. If and Only If the Job market is booming and solid, it would be the top most city for secure living and future. With instability in the jobs and lesser demands for the skills assessed, it perplexes even the stable minded souls. If someone could let us know, if it was always this way w.r.t IT/ICT or any Professional Jobs in this city, may be we can very well prepare ourselves ahead.
