  1. Hi, thanks for all the advice. I was thinking of trying to get the second year visa, but I've just been offered some contract work after sending my CV to some local firms which will hopefully turn into a permanent job. I just need to get working on a permanent visa! I'm on the skilled list, so hopefully it will all work out ok.
  2. Best thing is to get access to the internet, search for rentals and register for the viewing day. They come up often so you should be able to see a few in your first week.
  3. hi, I'm a nurse and came to oz on a 190 visa, your sister would first have to get a skills assessment from anmac before lodging a visa request. Ahpra want you to have degree equivalent qualifications. Has your sister completed any post reg study. I read a post recently saying the bridging course is available in Adelaide, Maybe give ahpra an email and see if your sisters two years experience will count. Depending where she works it maybe better using a company to sponsor her, I did it all independently but there are advertisements in the back of nursing standard in the UK.
  4. Hi, seaford rise and moana are both good choices, i have read bad reviews about seaford k7 and know some parents have moved tbeir kids from there. Both seaford rise and moana are zoned so it depends where you live. Good luck with your move.
  5. Hi, im a nurse aswell and waiting for ahpra to get back to me with regards to registration. I applied in april and still waiting! I think my application was forgot about for a while.I have a diploma but I have also completed post reg modules and qualified ten years so I hope they will take that into account when reviewing my application. Have you applied to them for registration? Im in seaford rise and i have met two nurses, both travel to flinders to work, i dont think its too far to travel.
