  1. i just shared a link above your this message...read it and follow it. it clearly says :You must be in Australia when you apply. you means applicant...
  2. Average processing time for this visa has recently changed.. it is 12 to 15 months. i think fees has also increased to AUD 6,865.00 https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/801-
  3. Hi Sandeep...You have not done wrong thing in sending your wife to oversea because that was irrelevant to your visa 887 file processing. But you did a blunder in applying for 887 without adding your wife on your TR on first hand.you should have waited for 2-3 months for applying 887 if you were aware that you are getting married.you should have added your wife on TR first and once she get TR ,she would have been with you on 887 the very next day.then you both could have got PR straight way.this thing has been discussed many times on this forum. you cannot add anyone into your file after applying 887(exception is for new born babies). And now you got PR even you wife is overseas confirms she was not added to your 887 file and will not get PR grant via 887. your wife will get spouse visa or so.ask Dept of immi of her spouse or partner visa process...she is certainly not on your 887 visa file.and now she cant be added. 4. these are more than enough PAM2010.if you have attached these documents then you dont have to worry about English requirement for your partner.this is what is actually mentioned in the checklist.
  5. Hi 887australia...you said you have searched this forum and couldn't find anything regarding your situation?...this is next to impossible.i got my direct grant with in 28 days due to this forum.if you would had gone to june 2015 to dec 2015 pages then you would have got your answers. i am not active on this forum but gone through recent posts and i can see that ppl are not following proper documents checklist requirements and just waiting for CO allocation.i cant understand the reason of not filling form 80 and 1221.these are mentioned in the checklist and while filling online application, these documents are asked. ppl have got straight direct grant if these documents are already attached.anyhow i am not here to criticize anybody.its their personal wish. checklist have been discussed almost more than 100 times on this forum.but ppl are not following or care to read the old posts. PPL are asking updates from others to get the idea/judgement of their own cases.immigration department never judges priority on this basis normally. of course date of applying is a criteria but grants is occasionally not based on this basis. Please dont take my words in negative way.we all here for our PR application guidance.Advance apology if someone find my post disrespectful of negative. @887australia..send me your email id via pm.i had same situation like yours i.e. baby on the way.you should apply as soon as you can.if eligible then apply this week.can guide you on how to apply ping me your email id. 6. Hi etch123..you have to fill form 119 (https://www.border.gov.au/Forms/Documents/119.pdf) first and you have to get citizen certificate for your daughter. If you have Permanent Residence Stamp in your passport then you can avoid doing form 119 process.if you don't have PR stamped into your passport then get her citizen certificate first... after getting her citizen certificate , you can apply for her passport at your nearest Post office.you need to follow checklist available on their website. Gone through similar process recently. Passport department will reject application without citizen certificate of your daughter.your electronic Visa of permanent resident is not sufficient for her Australia passport.you will be providing your e-visa for getting her citizen certificate through Form 119. Sanjeev
  7. you should refer old blogs/messages to know these things....3 weeks per year are allowed...3 weeks per year is literally 3 weeks per year...cant be 4 week first year and 2 week in second year...any extra days per year have to be covered before applying.
  8. Congrats WGar...Party Time for you.enjoy weekend now.
  9. Hi 28Apr887 IELTS is generally valid for 3 years.but in case of 887 visa its a bit different scenario.for 887, spouse needs Functional English i.e. 4.5 IELTS Bands.and if you go through IELTS Functional English description, its valid for one year only. Best bet is to provide letter from university that the education was done with medium of all instruction as English. Competant IELTS is valid for 3 years whereas functional IELTS has validity for one year only for visa purpose.
  10. Hi 887March312016 Here are your answers: 1). Your sponsor can live anywhere and it will not effect your case at all...after 489 Grant,it is you who needs to follow condition of designated area. As long as you lived in Designated area i.e. Melbourne or Adelaide, you are fine. 2). Since you already applied 887 , you don't need Medical as such if you and your wife already done medical during 489...but PCC is doubtful..it depends on your CO(if allocated)...it is not required again in most of the cases. 3). Technically you can work at Sydney as its a matter of few weeks and your work main head office is still in Melbourne, you are going on deputation(sort of) for few weeks only.i have read somewhere on immi website and i am sure i am right that if you are working in designated area and nature of work require you to go and work in Sydney or Brisbane area for the same Company for few weeks/months than it will be counted as Designated area since its a work requirement and not your own wish or requirement. you will be fine mate.
  11. Hi JJWen...applying 887 for your self now will be a big issue for you afterwards.489 subsequent visa takes maximum 3 months these days if all the documents provided.since its July already and hence nothing much going to change in this year as such for 887 visa...you should wait for 489 visa grant for your partner and then same day you can file for 887.you both will get PR withing 6 months and your tension will be over.don't rush.think big.waiting for 6-8 months for PR is far better than waiting for you partner to get PR in next 4 year which will be another fight for you. anyhow its your decision but spend some time on this forum and read previous comments from starting.then you will be able to judge your case broadly. Moreover you can add him/her into your file while applying 887 easily(which will be cheapest, safest and fastest way to PR)....but afterwards you cant add him/her easily...then you will have to see for spouse or partner visa which will be more time consuming process.
  12. sorry janandi i missed the word congrats in my last sentence...i wanted to write btw congrats for the baby.
  13. Hi janandi...you have to advise Dept of immigration about you new born baby.they will ask your baby's birth certificate and passport.just ring them on 131881 and they will advise you how to add the baby.btw for the baby
  14. Yes you are right...your file be in process as if you were is Australia...but if you are overseas then your file be in queue depending on your travel date.once you are back then you can advise CO and then you will get grant
  15. you can go overseas and once CO get allocated he will ask you about your traveling date i.e. returning date.and once you enter oz and you vevo shows you are onshore than you get grant.
