Hi Poms Hope you are well!. I have a question related to my brother's chances to migrate into Australia(SA) on 491 visas. He had submitted his Skill Assessment to Vetasses last year and which came as Positive. Since then he was waiting for EOI and Offshore visas to open again. But with the recent SA list of New 70 occupations which was published only last month, that occupation is no longer on the list. South Australia's Skilled Occupation List | Move to South Australia (migration.sa.gov.au) My question is if there is any Immigration expert here who knows whether SA govt. will Include that Skill in the future, and If yes do we have an estimated time?. He even can't go for another skill select as most of them are assessed by Vetasses and they already have a record of his skill? Also, any chance if he applies Student Visa for SA, will that impact his chances for 491 Visa in the future once that Asco code is available again? Thank you for your inputs.

My Mother got 3 year Visitor visa (600) with condition of 8558 means can't stay more than 12 months in 18 months total. She got her visa on 21/09/17, made First entry on 9th Nov 17 till 05 Feb 18.. Second Visit 26 April 18 till 27 Sep 18. Current Visit 11 Dec 18- Till Now Are she still under Visa condition of 12M/18M? How long can she stay this time?(Exact Date if Possible) I am planning to call her back on September this year so will it be okay? If yes, then how long can she stay with us then? Very Very Confused & can't think more. Please help to calculate her stay in better way? Thanks Krazzy

Thank you. Her 18 months from entry date will end on 8 May 19. Right? I have booked her return for 7th April today. By that way she will finish her first term of 12 months in 18 months. But can she has to stay back in there for 7 months( 1 month of May & 6 months again ) before come back here? What she isthinking to come again on July. Will it be okay then? Thanks

Thank you so much. All confusion clear now. As she has tickets booked already so i keep in mind that she can go back before 9 April even.. But what it mean to complete 2nd term of 12M/18M she has to be there till 9th Nov 19 after she leave in April before she come back again to spend 12 months as visa is valid till sep 2020? I have calculated so far below: 1) 9th Nov 17 to 05 Feb 18= 89 Days or 2M, 28D 2) 26Th April 18 to 27 Sep 18= 155 Days or 5M, 2 D So untill what date ecactly or day less can she stay in next visit to oblize the condition? Hello Friends Good Morning to All.. Just a question, Can we travel Overseas after apply for citizenship? I applied mine almost 3 months ago and until now no Test date even. Now I have to travel overseas later this year in Oct-Nov and I don't no whether by that time I will get my Citizenship or not? Travel is a requirement which I can't postponed but as still almost 8 months left and Status of my application is 'Received' what would you say? I need advice from people having a similar experience if they could please share with me. Thanks Krazzy10

Hello Guys. Recently i got my passport renewed and now i was wondering how to update about new passport details to DIBP so that there shouldn't be any issue when i travel again in future? And if anyone knows how it works, would be great to brief please? I read somewhere we can do it online through IMMi Account. Yes i do have that as when i filed my PR visa i registered that time. But if i update there online with the option" Update Us" in my already finalised application of PR, then will they send me another Updated Visa having new passport number mention on it or how? P;ease brief if some one has experience in similar case? Thanks

Also what to write in this question: Does the applicant have a current passport? Yes or No as my passport is expired so no or yes? Thanks

Hey Folks.. just a question if someone could please answer. My citizenship is due soon as i am.on PR visa for more than 1 year and here in Aistralia since last 4 years so i am eligible now but my passport has expired already. Does anyone knows if its mandatory to renew passport first which if yes. Just a waste of money.?? Not sure as search a lot but so far no proper information. So.please of someone could brief on it.?
