  1. Hi, In our case, I am the main applicant and our water, gas and electricity bills were under my wife's name. It was not a problem for us. Good luck..! Cheers Pivi
  2. Sorry for the delay. Applied 24 Nov 2015 CO Allocated 09 Feb 2015 Granted 03 May 2015 Cheers
  3. Hi Guys We got our visa granted today. Thanks for all your help and wish you guys all the best..! Cheers Pivi
  4. Hi Anu Thanks for the prompt respond. May be I am going further down and asking too much information, did you change your nominated regional area during your conditional 2 years? The reason why I am asking, I rang my lawyer today and questioned the progress of my application. He advised me that it will take 7 to 8 months as I have change my nominated regional area. I realised straight a way that he is creating a story to shut me up. I am just wondering how many 887 applicant in this forum who were staying in the nominated regional area but still application process time takes more than usually expected 3 months? Cheers Pivi
  5. G'day Everybody..! Kind of desperated as my case officer haven't responded to the document request which I have made on 14th February. Anyway quick question to the guys those who are on top of the table, * are you guys still active members in this forum or; * any of you got the final grant but haven't passed that information to update the table in this forum or; * are you been requested further information but still awaiting for specific documents to submit (scenarios such as waiting for overseas police clearance)? I am bit curious that Immi web site clearly mentioned that 887 visa subclass is processing in the order in which they are received, See the link below; https://www.border.gov.au/Lega/Lega/8 According to the table in this forum that evidently break that Immi statement as some applicant have been received their grant those who are applied even few weeks after I lodged my application. Is this possible if their processing method is 'First In First Out'? Cheers Guys
  6. Hi nov23 I applied through an immigration lawyer and he asked us to provide IELTS average 4.5 if we do not have one which were done in last 12 months. There are few options that you can utilise to prove 'Functional English' according to this immigration web link https://www.border.gov.au/about/corporate/information/faqs/how-can-i-prove-i-have-functional-english I raised the same question like you to my lawyer as I have heard IELTS is now valid 3 years, but he advised us that only for the primary applicant can use IELTS which is not older than 3 years for 887 visa. Not only IELTS, you can do TOFEL or PTE to prove this requirement if you do not have followings In this case Attending an English exam is your only option, I highly recommend you to go for PTE as my wife made an booking via internet on Wednesday night for the same week Friday morning exam and she scored 54 out of 90 marks within one day preparation. The best thing about this exam is results available in 24 hours. Note that the recommendation I made is from our own experience and it can varied according to your situation. Please make your decision with your own research. Cheers Good luck. Kind Regards Pivi
  7. Hi VSDK CO requested from us 'functional English' as my wife's IELTS is older than 12 months. There are number of options but I suggest you to do PTE (http://pearsonpte.com) because my wife could get a booking in 3 days and got results in just 24 hours. You have to get 30 marks out of 90 or something (pretty easy). PTE is fully computer base, good to have a good preparation before the exam. Good luck Cheers Pivi
