  1. But the leap day is on February... I applied in Jan...
  2. I don't think your calculation is correct to be honest. Each year is 365 days, so to reach 730 days (inclusive), I must have applied on 22nd Jan. I guess you're double counting the days here?
  3. How many days your application was early by, by the way?
  4. Thanks Aust, That's so unfortunate. Wondering if they could setup the IMMIaccount system the way it can automatically check against the dates and warn you know if you haven't met the criteria? So bad we just realised the mistake, and after over 4 months of waiting. Luckily we have our 489 visa valid till August 2017, so a bit of slack till we run out. Cheers, PKH887
  5. Hi all, I'm new to this forum. Applied for 887 visa in NT on 21 Jan this year. I was reading through some of the older posts last week, particularly the ones regarding early lodgements (before 2 year criteria is met), and decided to double check my dates and stuff just to make sure, but unfortunately realised a bit of mess up: Me and my wife shared preparing the application for lodgement, and she submitted it when I was on a mission, there was a misunderstanding on the first date of arrival to Australia, as she thought it was on 21st Jan, but in fact our departure date was 21st, making the arrival to OZ 23rd of January 2014. This makes our actual stay in Darwin short by two days (728 instead of 730). Tried to call up the immi but no luck due to the long queue. Wondering if anyone has had an experience with this? I know early lodgements if say a month or a couple of weeks do matter and will be rejected, but what is the case for our 48 hour mess up? Do we have to withdraw / re apply and stay back in the queue, or will the immi waive our silly mistake? We have met the holiday criteria (only 28 days out of country between 16 Dec - 15 January 2015), and Work (full two years of full-time work) Would appreciate to know your experience on such. PKH887
