I was concerned about the switches and lights behind the panel. Are these easy to take off the old and attach to the new panel?

Hi, has anyone experienced this problem? It seems it's a common feature of these dishwashers, and new top panels are easy to come by on the internet, but before getting one I would like to know how easy they are to change. I can't find a service manual for my model (DX203) anywhere. Can anyone help? Regards, GRANDAD
