What a lovely post Tony and family. I so understand where you are coming from. Mark my husband said our friends we left in the UK forgot about us the moment we got into the taxi to leave for the airport! I have posted once on this site to meet up with new friends - and had a meeting with Paul & Kerry not so long ago, meeting up again over the christmas period. And just had another reply to my post just recently. Once i replyed to a post from Janet and Chris who posted on here 3 years ago looking for new friends, and we are such good friends now. Yes, you just have to make an effort. We dont have children so i think that is harder to meet new people also. I suppose when mums meet up at school it goes from there. We brought our Panasonic Plasma model TH-37PE50B with us and its in fully working order with sound and picture, But we cannot get colour on it - just black and white. Fully boxed with instructions. Someone may know how to get colour but we have exhausted all ways to try and find out! Even rang Panasonic in the UK before we arrived and they could not guarantee it would even work here. It works, but just black and white So if anyone wants to make an offer on a lovely Plasma , please do so. Pick up will be from Kurralta Park
