Probably best to arrive in lead up to June/July as mentioned previous. For IT work send off your CV to Hudson and Hayes etc... Both had lined up interviews for me for the first few weeks after arriving last year. Went with Hudson who got me a contracting job which has since become fulltime. We arrived last July. Good luck with the move when it comes.

We went with Bingle for car insurance, quite cgeap but have a standard $400 excess as I've just found out.

We went with Adam, $60 for 200gb. No complaints yet. Adam also linked to fetch tv as well. Haven't tried that yet.

Get yourself signed up with Hudson or Hays. We got here 8 weeks ago and i had interviews with both within a week of arriving. Both lined up interviews with clients but I took the first with Hudson and now in employment 2 weeks later. I was an IT Helpdesk manager back in the UK, have dropped back to Helpdesk support and making good money. Cheers Matt

We were in the same boat, arrived 8 weeks ago and didn't send over any furniture. Got our bedroom stuff from ikea, sofas from Super A mart and dining table from Fantastic Furniture Got our fridge freezer and washing machine from Appliances Online.
