I dont suppose you have avaialbility for the period 21 Nov to 28th? I have a double booking which has never happened to me before and I feel awful so am trying to assist them in finding something else for this busy period. Cheers, Donna

Hey guys, I have a tenant needing a place from 21st November to 28th. I had them booked in to one of my places but the current tenant has nowhere to go so is refusing to leave which has put me in quite the pickle. Although I agree a holiday let is the way to go (surprise surprise) it may depend on the time of year you are arriving. You can get great deals in Winter but in summer you might find a hotel cheaper?? House sitting is an awesome option if you can find one

You could even report any issues (no matter how small) now to cover yourselves against any claims against the bond. She can only legitimately claim if she can prove the damage was done by you i.e you signed an inspection sheet noting certain things were good etc when you moved in.

Definitely not ok is Australia unless UK has different laws???? That is a shocker!!!

Yeah this is a hard one. I tend to agree that getting a short term rental whilst you find your feet is a good option although the flip side is you have to pay a bit more for this.
