Guys, I am looking to move to Queensland in late January and leaving my fantastic 4 bed, 2 rec rooms, pool and spa home. Will be leaving it for at least a year and may even sell the home if Queensland is a hit! If your interested I will send some pictures.

Guys, Looks like we are moving up to Cairns in late January which means we will be leaving behind our beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 reception, pool and spa home behind. We will be looking to rent it out for 6 months up to a year. There may even be the possibility of selling up after that year..........depending if Queensland works for us. I will send some pictures to interested parties. Rental will probably be between $450-$500 p.w. and pets would be negotiable.

Hi All.. Just putting the word out that Cove Soccer trials start this Sunday 7th Oct. They will also run Weds 10th and Fri 12th. They are for all ages from 6 to 17. The Cove also want to start a girls team for the 2013 season. All details can be found on ths Cove website. Hope to see plenty there.

I Think you must have worked out by now that it is not cheap to live here. We pay rent that is much higher than in the UK and are about to get a mortgage well over triple our english one. On the flip side, both of our saleries are higher than the uk. If you look at prices of things you will never come. Life quality is far better. Sunshine, beaches and outside space is all free. What I would say is that I would not like to be out of work here. Would be a hell of a struggle then. TIZZER

We arrived out here late June and both my kids started R- 12 in July. We have a 15 yr old and a 7 yr old. They have both settled in great and have boat loads of friends. They were made very welcome by the school from day one. It is a large school, but each age group and year has it own building ect. If you are looking for a smaller school, have heard that the south school is better than the East. Tizzer.

Blimey, you have left it a bit late!!!!!!!!! There are short term rentals south of Adelaide. Some better than others, but the position you are in you cant be choosy. Just have surf the net and see whats available. It wont be cheep though. Tizzer.

Hi, yes sorry. Organised as ever. House is on Wayside Drive ( no. 7.) The front garden looks like a tropical paradise. We are currently paying $370 per week. This includes a gardener to take care of front and back gardens. We are taking a second viewing on a property to buy on Sunday and we will then make a decision on whether to buy or not. Got my australian licence last week. You just need the UK one, passport and Aussie address. No paper section required.
