495 to 887 - Speeding fines

Hi

We are eight months into our 495 visa and my husband has just recieved two speeding fines, on the same road on the same day.

I am starting to stress now as I wonder if this could effect our chances of getting the 887 visa?

sp30's ??? i have had speeding fines and i was never asked anything about them - so dont think it will effect your chances.

no it wont affect your visa at all........drinking maybe but not small speeding fines

Hi there Claire,

Don't worry about the speeding fines. Minor criminal offences are not a problem. My OH managed to get in with a firearm offence! (he had one stolen and was charged as the gun was not in a locked safe).

I know what it feels like...the whole "what if" surrounding the migration approval process.

Hope that sets your mind at ease a little.
