Stepping out of the comfort zone and finding everything fine on the otherside.
being relaxed everywhere.
the people, so friendly and honest.
paying out and no one gets the hump.
kids play as we used to when we were their age.
the scenery, sea, beaches, skies and sunsets will all take your breath away.
the funny new noises.
bbq's, most meals are now cooked on ours, and its winter!
Making new friends
experiencing new cultures.
I love the way the locals manage to fit the words 'HEAPS' and 'SENSATIONAL' into every conversation.
Saturday mornings spent eating a BBQ breakfast watching my boys play soceer.
The birds chirping in trees in the reserve behind my house even in winter
The social life we can have with our kids because everywhere is so child friendly.
'Lay-by' for the kids toys for Christmas
The help you get from other migrants because they know how hard it can be when you arrive
The help you get from Australians because they admire you for making the move
The friendliness of everyone and the fact that nothing is a big deal
The fact I need to wear sunglasses while driving during winter
Lots more but wouldn't have the time to post all
Things to love about Adelaide.
I'm completely new to this forum. We are about to start the application for a 175 Visa. At the moment we are deciding between Adelaide (my personal favourite) and Perth. All I can say after reading this thread is......wish I was in Adelaide already. It sounds just blissful! Great idea for a thread, nothing more reassuring than hearing from people who are already living the dream!
Emmamac (About to start the adventure!)
