Kids shoes

Bit of a silly question I know, but should I get kids school shoes in the Uk before we move or can kids wear any type of shoes?

Depends on what type of school they go to.....my son is in a public primary school and is allowed to wear either shoes or trainers but i would think some of the private schools would want shoes...personally i would stock up on shoes and trainers for your kiddies before you leave as they can be abit expensive here....

We found shoes on par with the UK. We bought our children shoes from Betts in Marion and it didn't cost any more than it did last time we went to Clark's.

I'd stock up personally.................unless you want 'running style' trainers, get them from the UK, I can't seem to find much choice in skate type trainers here for my little ones. You can get a small choice of Clarks shoes in David Jones in the Marion centre, not sure how prices compare to UK though. There is also a Converse oulet at Harbour Town...................I'm just talking boys shoes though, not sure for girls x
