At last the police checks have come back, it nearly took two months for them to come back (is that normal?). Meds done and should be somewhere on there way to Oz. So now fingers crossed and hope the process doesn't take too long. Can't wait to get out there.

Like you we have just finished meds and police checks (now on their way). It was almost a celebration in itself that we have completed the last stage before visa grant.

What visa have you applied for and when do you hope to be in Adelaide?

Hi,

 

I'm on the Class VE, subclass 175 skilled-independent visa.

 

We are hoping to get out to Oz as soon as we can really, it just depends on how long the sale of the house etc takes, and if we get our visa of course. Fingers crossed!!

that does seem a long time we were told if you hav'ent received them in 10 days chase them up we got ours in 7 days. police checks were received and signed off then once we knew our medicals where received as they where tracked, my wife was emailing the medical centre in sydney then they confirmed in a email back to say processed and then we received our visa confirmation the next day.

It does seem a long time for Police checks - who's been a naughty boy wih a long record then?? (kidding)
