I wonder if anyone can help me. I am going the through the final stages of my visa application and i have been asked to do my medical and chest xrays. I am going to have the medicals and chest xrays done on the 29th of this month but i have a problem with one of the questions on the 120 form that the doctor will ask me. I had a slight collapse of the lung 9 years ago when i fell of my motorbike and belive it or not its has stopped me getting certain jobs. My lung collapsed by 10 percent and reninflated in about a week so nothing major or anything but when i was 17 i applied for the navy and they knocked me back because of this.
I know the doctor is going to ask me if i have had any lung conditions on the medical and i would rather say no, as it was 9 years ago and i has no reoccurred since.
If i choose to say i have not had a lung issue does anyone know if they check your medical history as you dont give any details of your doctor on the forms.
I would rather be honest and say what happened but i dont want something that happened 9 years ago to be dragged up again.
Plus the chest xrays should prove i am fighting fit.
If anyone can help i would really appreciate it.
