which option ielts for 175 or go stni for 176

i have come to a crossroads at the moment i dont know if to take the ielts test to get my points up to 120 so i can go for the 175 visa, or wait and apply for the state nominated south australia sponsorship for 176 visa .

i want to move to south australia anyway but i dont know what is the best option any ideas anyone.

not to worried about timescales at the moment

There are definate advantages in getting the permanent visa and other threads on here go in to all the pros and cons.

The biggest one as far as I'm concerned is getting 40kg luggage allowance on the plane.

If you have the option I would go the PR route. No worries then about having to get PR in a few years plus you get child benefit etc

 

We are on an SIR so not entitled to anything like this although we did get the 40kg allowance too
