I received a phone call this morning from a company that I had visited on my recent trip to Adelaide and they will be offering me a job!

 

Can't tell you how happy I am!!!

The call this morning came completely out of the blue. This was a company that told me they'd love to hire me, but didn't have any staff shortages at the time.

Well, we still have to go through the visa app process again and given that we are including my mother in law as a dependent, this brings its own angst with it.

Just watch yourself if you attend the football... it was reported on the news here that SAPS (South African Police Service) have a shoot to kill policy! If you celebrate and drink too much they'll shoot you! Here you just get tasered!
