Can't re-enter Oz with a British passport

My OH became an Australian citizen this month.

He has some business to attend to and has to leave Australia for a few days later this month.

However, now that he is a citizen his permanent residence visa has been cancelled.

To enable him to get back into the country he has to use an Australian passport.

On Wednesday last week he submitted his application at the Noarlunga centre post office and the passport was received on Friday morning. Two days! Now that's efficient.
