we have arrived

At long last we have arrived. Leaving the UK on Monday was the hardest thing I have ever done, saying your goodbyes and then the long journey with two young children. They were great but singapore airlines were first class and looked after us superbly.

Now staying with friends in sellicks beach which we love as it is quiet with a great beach. How cold is it!!! but have been told should start to warm up very soon. Hope so! Now its down to look forward and not back, have a couple of interviews next week so lets hope something will come up. The people we have met have been great and very friendly. Got our car now so this will help us to climatise to the area and the aussie way of life. Two years from start to finish to get here so its time to start enjoying it and fitting into the good old aussie lifestyle.

Welcome to Adelaide, and the new start to the rest of your lives.

 

It will start warming up soon we are slowly getting there, we will start having a few 20 degree days then you know it on its way.

 

Keep positive and make some close friends pretty quicky, these guys becone your new family out here, you know your new brother and sister and nephews and neices etc etc...these people are there no matter what, to share the good and even more to share the bad times....cos there will be some we have had some and without our very close friends not sure how we could have carried on.

 

you will be slowly sorting all your stuff out...TFN Medicare all the usual newby stuff....

 

 

I hope you find Adelaide to be everything you wanted/expected and more...
