im sure this has been covered so i appoligise for asking again, does anyone know about the first time buyers grant and how you go about applying for one, i looked on the gov web site but was totally confused (doesnt take alot at the moment)

If you're applying for a mortgage, the mortgage company will send you all the forms to complete & they submit the application for you.. the funds are then sent direct to the mortgage company which can be used as deposit.

If it all looks confusing, phone the number at the bottom of the link. You can then speak to someone, who will send the relevant forms out to you (saves printing them yourself) .
