Wages for joiner/carpenter

Hi all, im posting this on behalf of a friend who is thinking of starting the process of migrating to oz. The thing is her OH needs to be convinced. So what i would like your help with is what are the wages like for Joiners/carpenters in SA. Thanks in advance.

There an award rate which employers have to pay by law....have a look through SA award rate wages...

from someone in the trade , the sky is your limit !! It all depends on how good you are and how many hours a day you want to work !! Without putting my income on a public forum all i'd say is the money is far better over here and i love the hours to enjoy the beach, pool and sunshine !!
