Re entry Visa

going on holiday to the USA & Mexico and arrive back on the 25th of March. Luckily I av just found out my visa runs out on the 24th of March so wouldnt of been allowed back in Oz had i not sussed this out.

 

Question: Is it straight forward to get a re entry visa/ visa extension ?

 

Am planning on applying for citizenship after my return. :-)

im goin uk in april on a british passport n my resident return visa has expired too, from what i found out u just go down to city to immigration offices (not sure where it is or what its proper name is but im sure someone will put me right) and get it renewed there n then for about $300 or i think u can do it online

had a quick look on immigraton website and it says u can go to the offices on currie street in the city and all u have to take is your valid passsport and payment ($260 by the look of it)

It is straightforward but will cost you money ($260).

 

You need to get a Resident Return Visa, which lasts for 5 years.

 

Best to get it done sooner rather than later. An expensive days holiday, pity you are not coming home a day or two earlier!
