Can anyone help me is there a visa that you can apply for when you are 50 have been tol regional family sponser is this correct.

Much harder once over 45. RSMS and ENS may be possible unless you currently run a successful business and meet requirements for business skills visas.

The RSMS and ENS require an employer to sponsor you. What do you do?

Hi Thanks for the info i am actually doing some research for my sister she is 50 this year and an accountant. I have just recently got my visa anfd leave for Oz in September.

depends when she is 50. The new points system comes in on 1st July for GSM 175/176. An accountant with a degree may just pass new points system and if under 50 ie 49 when she applies she will score no points for age but will not be excluded. Otherwise employer sponsored is the way in.

 

So if she passes new points can she lodge after 1st July but before she turns 50?
